CHRISTMAS ANGELS 2025

In conjunction with our Helping Hands food program for families in need this Christmas, we will be continuing with our Christmas Angels project again this year. The families we will be helping have been identified by Starting Points from the Pleasant View Elementary School area in nearby Morgan County.
The Christmas Angel project seeks gifts of clothing for the children of these families. This project will operate much as it has in the past -- those wishing to participate will select from a list of children provided. Kindly make your choice(s) from the list below, then follow some simple guidelines.

So that each child is only taken once, you must arrange your selection directly with Krista O'Brien, krissy.a.obrien@gmail.com, 304-283-9678. (Please do not send your message to the Chapel’s email).

Krista will provide the child's and mother's name and the parent's phone number if you have any questions. The color given and other likes of the child are to help with clothing selections. Please remember we are seeking clothing only.

Historically, we have tried to balance the number of packages for each child in the home and ask that you provide two packages - - two Christmas themed bags or two wrapped boxes. We appreciate your understanding.

If possible, include gift receipts in the package in case exchanges are necessary.

Clearly and boldly tag each wrapped box or bag with the child’s name and the parent's/ guardian’s name.
Drop them off at the Fellowship Hall during one of the drop-off times below when they can be safely stored in the office for security. Contact Krista or Judy Snyder if you need your gift picked-up or to make other arrangements.
From talking with the families who have participated in the past, we know, that your gifts for their children are so appreciated. Having something new to wear brings such joy in times of family hardship and stress. As always, the Outreach Committee appreciates your continued support in providing much needed Christmas cheer and warm clothing.
